Q. What sort of publishing agreements do you do?
A. We can provide music publishing, sub publishing or administration agreements. We are very flexible and will endeavour to accommodate your needs.
Q. Can I send in my songs to be considered for a publishing deal?
A. Yes you can send in your demos to us but we can't guarantee that we will be able to get to listen to them in great detail. This all depends on how busy we are at the time. Please note demos are not returned and we do not always respond when they are received.
Q. How many songs should I put on the demo?
A. 3 – 4 and make sure they are mastered. You only get one shot so give it your all!
Q. I have used lyrics from one of your writers songs do I need to seek clearance for this?
A. Yes you do. You are using someone else’s work and the original writer must give their approval for this use. Our licensing department handles these requests.
Q. Not having a publishing deal does this mean I can not get my music into Television and Film?
A. No you can still network and try and get your music placed yourself or you can send SoundSauce a copy of your work. This is our third party licensing company which pitches music to film.Tv and commercials.
Q. Are you looking for a particular genre of music?
A. No we are a pretty diverse company and have music from yodeling to electronica.
