New Signings

The ORiGiN Music Group has recently added new signings to its growing Australian roster including former LRB hit songwriter Graeham Goble who is completing his new solo recording.

Other new signings include poet Dorothy Porter who wrote the song cycle “Before Time Could Change Us” with Paul Grabowsky for singer Katie Noonan (George) which has just been released by Warner Music in Australia entering the Top 20 Australian albums chart.

Legendary Australian composer and producer Harry Vanda has recently established his new Flashpoint production company and has now entered into a new publishing and project management deal with ORiGiN.

Flashpoint’s first production to roll out will be a long overdue new album from John Paul Young whose “Love Is In The Air” ranks as one of the biggest Australian made international hit songs of all time. The new JPY album will pick up where that song left off.

Other new signings to ORiGiN also includes Mr Barry Humphries (aka Dame Edna Everage and Sir Les Patterson) whose extensive range of musical works include “The One Eyed Trouser Snake” and “Chunder In the Old Pacific Sea”.

Danny Beckerman and Ricardo Formosa have also signed up to ORiGiN with their extensive catalogues of film and TV works and songwriter Alessandro Baudo has signed up with ORiGiN and is recording with fellow ORiGiN writers Eric McCusker and Joe Creighton for a new album combining their talents under the band name TootSweet.
